Background
The official Africa Magic profile lists Koyin’s name, his 19 August 2003 birthday, his Leo star sign and his hometown, Ogun State. It records modelling as his main work. In the same profile he says he joined the show to push his career “to the next level” and describes himself as multitalented, ambitious and a “party monster” who enjoys meeting people. He also admits to carrying a little pride and says some people think he snubs others.
Legit.ng’s biography describes him as a model, former dancer, singer, songwriter and professional swimmer, and as the first male housemate introduced to the Season 10 house. It adds that his breakthrough came in 2023 when he appeared in a global Coke Studio campaign. The broadcaster’s own profile says only that he was booked for “a big global brand’s campaign in 2023” after an earlier commercial gig went to another model, so the identity of the brand rests on Legit.ng alone.
No reliable published source names his parents, his school or his university, and we do not repeat the guesses that appear on aggregator sites.
Koyin on Big Brother Naija Season 10
Season 10 opened on 26 July 2025. Koyin entered on the second batch of opening-night arrivals, according to the Wikipedia season summary, and stayed to day 70. Channels Television reported on 5 October 2025 that Kola, Sultana and Koyin were evicted at the finale, which left Imisi and Dede as the last two. Imisi was then announced the winner. Koyin’s third place put him ahead of Sultana and Kola in the closing vote.
Moments that drew attention
- Age claim. Pulse Nigeria reports that at the premiere Koyin said he was 21 and was seen as the youngest in the house, and that he later told fellow housemate Gigi Jasmine he had misstated his age. The outlet does not say what the true figure was, and sources still differ on whether he was 21 or 22 on entry.
- Argument with Kaybobo. Pulse also reports that Koyin cried after a heated food-related argument with housemate Kaybobo, who had accused him of disrespect.
- Romance storylines. Koyin shared an on-screen kiss with Sultana, and the two joked about each tattooing the other’s name. After the finale, in an interview with GOTV reported by Legit.ng, he said of his bond with another housemate, Isabella: “There is no future between me and Isabella. I mean, we were together in the house just for fun.” Isabella had earlier said she was open to exploring the connection.
- Friendship with Dede. At the season reunion, Koyin and Dede both said their relationship has always been platonic. The Nollywood Reporter’s roundup lists them as close friends and notes they both became Guinness ambassadors.
None of these items is a verdict on character. They are things housemates said or did on camera, reported by entertainment outlets.
Life after the show
Since leaving the house, Koyin has built a public profile as a fashion and lifestyle personality.
- Brand ambassador. Ranks Magazine reported on 5 March 2026 that he joined Sonmade Luxury as a brand ambassador, describing him as a “rising actor and brand influencer” known for calm confidence and distinctive style. The piece is promotional and gives no contract terms.
- Streaming. NBG Africa reported on 9 March 2026 that he began live streaming on Twitch, quoting his Instagram post describing himself as a “cultural custodian” bringing storytelling, fashion and culture to streaming. Content creator Kamo State joined his first session as a guest.
- Season 11. In August 2026, as BBNaija Season 11 aired, he publicly urged followers to vote for housemate Sultex, according to OneKingNaija.
The Africa Magic and Legit.ng profiles also point to modelling and acting as ongoing interests, but we could not find a verified list of his screen credits.
