Her full name is Natasha Hadiza Akpoti Uduaghan. She was born on the 9th of  December 1979, in a town called Ihime, a town located in the Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State, hailing from the Ebira ethnic group. Her father was a medical doctor, and her mother, a Ukrainian, shaped her life and inculcated the values that made her the respected person she is today.

Natasha attended Christ the King Nursery and Primary School in Okene. After completing her secondary education, she headed to the University of Ilorin, where she got a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. After that, she attended the Nigerian Law School in Abuja and was later called to the Nigerian Bar. Her commitment to education and continuous learning took her on a journey to Scotland, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Oil and Gas Law, an industry she constantly advocates for in Nigeria’s industrial policy scene.

Before she ventured into politics, she was already a renowned lawyer and a respected individual in society. She was the founder of the Builders Hub Impact Investment Program (BHIIP), a program dedicated to supporting and improving local industries, especially in Northern Nigeria.

Natasha entered the political arena with a laser-focused vision to revive the Ajaokouta Steel Company and empower millions of youths by advocating avenues and pathways of job creation. She ran for the Kogi Central Senatorial Seat under the banner of the SDP in 2019. Even though she lost, she had already garnered enough political capital and momentum for her next trial.

She contested again in 2023 and won this time around, under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party, and was elected Senator of the Kogi Central Senatorial District. Her resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment in advocating for good governance, women’s empowerment, and industrial development endear her to thousands of folks in the nation.
