Dino Melaye is a former senator and also a member of the House of Representatives. At the moment, he is a member of the new party, the African Democratic Congress. In 2015, Dino defected from PDP to All Progressives Congress (APC) before he returned to PDP in the 2019 elections after months of political struggle with Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello.
