Adams grew up in a household that valued determination and hard work above all else. He began his professional career as a footballer at the grassroots level with Net Shakers FC, a local club in Tungan Goro, before joining the Jamba Football Academies to nurture and improve his football skills, and it was while he was there that he began to attract attention.

Adams made his overseas breakthrough in August 2018 when he signed for Sogndal FC, from Norway, relocating to Europe when he was just 18 years old. Eventually, he moved to Lillestøm SK, where he became a significant goal threat. Adams’ electrifying performances caught the eye of football scouts, which led to a transfer to the Ligue 1 club, Montpellier HSC, in August 2023.
Adams joined Sevilla FC, playing in the Spanish La Liga for a reported €5 million in January 2025. He made his mark by scoring vital goals like the winner against Rayo Vallecano and making remarkable contributions to Sevilla’s best performances in the league. Off the pitch, Adams maintains a close connection to his roots and has used his platform to give back to the grassroots that he was initially part of through programs such as the Akor Football Empowerment Scheme, which gives support to young footballers in his community.
Adams’ rise from local football Academies in the grassroots to one of the legacy clubs of Europe is a testament to his commitment and resilience. At the young age of 25, he is an inspiration for many athletes who wish to rise to the pinnacle of European football, make their mark, and fulfil their ambitions.
